On April 1st, 2019, we released initial plans and started fundraising to build a badly needed, new homeless shelter. Currently, our shelter will hold around 10 adults with a small space for families. Many nights we are beyond capacity. Our new shelter will house 40 individuals with 3 separate large bedrooms for men, women and families with separate bathing facilities for each bedroom. Plus we will have a resource center to allow people to job hunt. as well as expanded laundry and kitchen facilities.
